Journal of Faculty of Letters (JFL) is a publication of Hacettepe University's Faculty of Letters. The history of JFL dates back to the year 1983. The journal publishes national and international research articles on a wide variety of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. In this context, JFL aims at sharing with the academic world the scientific studies reflecting both modern international theories/ applications and the accumulation of knowledge, coming from a land where many cultures and civilizations have blended together for thousands of years.

JFL is published semi-annually (in June and in December) and operates with a double-blind peer referee system.

JFL is indexed in ULAKBİM Social Sciences Database, in MLA (Modern Language Association of America) international bibliography, and in EBSCO Host Database.
